Witches

The word witch can come from Celtic origin 'Brixton' which means spell, or may come from the Gaulish Brixtia, the name of a goddess.

Witches are women with enough intelligence and vast knowledge of nature and magic. Several of them use their magic for good (white magic) or for bad (black magic).

There are many legends, myths, stories and facts about witches, and the most important fact for the story occurred in the Middle Ages, when women was accused of practicing witchcraft, were hunted and brought to the Inquisition to be burned by the people on the ground to pay their sins because they believed they possessed supernatural powers and had a deal with the Devil.

This women dominated the forces of nature, and sometimes transferred her spirit to black cats and all for 'normal people, everything they did was evil. People healers and seers were also accused of witchcraft in the Middle Ages, by their nature knowledge.

When we talk about witches, we can remember the image of an old lady, wrinkled with crooked nose and warts, which uses a pointy hat buckle, clothes and torn rags, and flying on a broomstick.

Some people believe they're stay ugly and old because they're practitioners of black magic, driving pests in people, and make spells of hypnotism and various other spells with one intention, to harm.

Already users witch white magic, are considered healers, the goal is to use the knowledge of nature, to plant and harvest medicinal herbs, in order to produce some medicine, but nothing to do evil.

Another story involving witches, that is old, is that women are accused of "intimate relationships" with the devil in exchange for supernatural powers to do evil things.
